Boston Red Sox Partner with FlickWish

Boston Red Sox

Due to SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME squeezing out one more win to take the January 21-23 box office weekend with a $14 million dollar haul which shut out all of our contestants who unanimously picked SCREAM to win, we had no winner to announce for this edition of The FlickWish Box Office Contest.

Despite a missed win for our contestants, we officially announced our partnership with The Boston Red Sox and their contribution to our Night Out in Boston prize package for The 2022 FlickWish Champion:

January 7-9 Box Office Contest Finalists

There is one skill that Marvel Studios has yet to master at the box office and that is knowing when to take their foot off of the gas. I mean…damn! When a movie crushes, you can feel it. But this isn’t your typical weekend rumble at the cineplex. This has been a tsunami of historic box office proportions.

Once again, SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME brought home $32.6 million in gold to take the January 7-9 podium and secure its place as a blockbuster to remember.

FlickWish congratulates our following finalists who didn’t go cold on the web-slinger:

December 24-26 Box Office Contest Finalists

Spider-Man: No Way Home

As so many blockbuster franchises launch, make cinematic history, and then fall victim to Hollywood’s addiction to being rebooted and recycled with X-MEN and TERMINATOR coming to mind, Marvel Studios has revolutionized the art of cinematic housekeeping by tying up the loose ends from three mammoth SPIDER-MAN sagas and setting them up under one MCU roof with SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME.

With the Marvel multiverse running wild at the box office, SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME crushed the competition with a takedown of $84.5 million to win the December 24-26 weekend.

FlickWish congratulates our following finalists who know how to bet on a sure thing:

Brett Nolan Lunenburg, MA SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME
